Backgrounds
Built-in scenery, Bing image of the day, gradients, your own photo or live camera snapshots.
Open Settings → Background & style and pick a style:
- Scenery — built-in landscapes, islands, landmarks and more, grouped by collection.
- Bing daily — Bing's image of the day, refreshed automatically.
- Gradient and Solid colors.
- My image — upload a photo. It's stored on this computer only and isn't synced or backed up.
- Live snapshots — photos from free, openly licensed public cameras (coasts, cities, mountains and volcanoes). Choose a location and a refresh interval; refreshing pauses while the page is hidden.
Use Background dimming to keep text readable on bright images.
